尼加拉瓜人Tony Melendez出生時便沒有了雙手，在16歲那年他決定要學吉他，但周圍的人卻都不看好他；但在1987年9月15日時，卻可以當著教皇約翰．保羅二世的面表演吉他，得到教皇以「gift of hope」代表希望的禮物來讚美Tony。現在的他突破了一切的不可能，到世界各地巡演，成為一個專職的音樂人。
